CSIR NAL Multi-Tasking Staff Recruitment 2026: Apply Offline for 06 MTS Posts

CSIR – National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL), Bengaluru has invited offline applications from eligible Indian citizens for recruitment to the post of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) on a direct recruitment basis under Advertisement No. 11/2026. A total of 06 vacancies are available under Pay Level-1 (Rs. 18,000 – 56,900) as per the 7th CPC. Candidates who have passed SSC / 10th Standard are eligible to apply.

The application process is completely offline via Speed Post or Courier. Receipt of hard-copy applications starts from 12 August 2026 and the closing date to submit the application is 21 September 2026 (up to 5:00 PM). Selection will be conducted through an OMR-based objective type written examination held in Bengaluru.

CSIR NAL MTS Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

Selection will be conducted through:

1. Screening of Applications: Scrutiny based on eligibility, qualifications, and documentation.
2. OMR-Based Competitive Written Examination: Objective Multiple Choice Questions (150 Questions, 2 Hours duration).
3. Document Verification & Medical Fitness Test

Written Examination Scheme (Class 10 Standard):

• Medium: English, Hindi & Kannada (except English Language section).
• Marking Scheme: 3 marks for each correct answer; 1 negative mark for each wrong answer.

How to Apply for CSIR NAL MTS Recruitment 2026

Eligible candidates must submit their application offline on A4-size paper typed in the prescribed format (handwritten applications will not be accepted).

1. Download and neatly type the prescribed application format on A4 paper.
2. Affix one recent self-attested passport-size colour photograph in the designated box and sign the declaration.
3. Enclose the original Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (if applicable) with name and father’s name endorsed on the back.
4. Attach self-attested copies of the following documents:
   • SSC / Matriculation / 10th Certificate & Mark Sheet (as proof of Date of Birth)
   • Caste / Category certificate (OBC-NCL / ST / EWS) in the prescribed Government of India format
   • OBC Non-Creamy Layer declaration (Annexure-IV), if applying under OBC quota
   • PwBD / Ex-Servicemen Certificate, if applicable
   • Valid government-issued photo ID proof (such as Voter ID, PAN, Driving Licence, Passport, etc.)
   • No Objection Certificate (NOC) & Vigilance Clearance from employer, if currently working in Govt / PSU / Autonomous Body
5. Place the completed application form, DD, and self-attested certificates in a sealed envelope.
6. Clearly superscribe on top of the envelope: “Application for the Post of MTS, Advt. No. 11/2026”.
