The Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA), Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence has released the recruitment notification for Technician (Semi-Skilled) Group ‘C’ posts through Advertisement No. CQA(HV)/2026/Tech(SS). Eligible ITI pass candidates can apply offline for 15 vacancies across various trades including Fitter Auto, Electrician Mate, and Labourer. The offline application process starts on 18 July 2026 and will remain open until 14 August 2026.
Selected candidates will be appointed on probation for a period of two years in Pay Level-1 (Rs. 18000 – 56900). Selection will be made through a Written Test followed by a Trade Test and Document Verification.

DGQA Technician Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
Selection will be conducted through:
- Written Examination (100 Marks): Objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with no negative marking.
- Trade Test (100 Marks): Shortlisted candidates will appear for the Trade Test (Minimum qualifying marks: 40).
- Document Verification & Medical Examination

Enclose 03 recent passport-size photographs and one self-addressed envelope (30 cms x 12 cms) affixed with a Rs. 55/- postal stamp.
