Eligible candidates can apply online for 1599 apprenticeship slots across various divisions and workshops including Carriage Repair Workshop Mancheswar, Khurda Road, Sambalpur, RGDA Division, and ECOR Headquarters. The online application process begins on 26 August 2026 at 17:00 hrs and will remain open until 15 September 2026 at 17:00 hrs.
Candidates possessing a 10th Class (Matriculation) certificate with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks along with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade are eligible to apply. Selection will be strictly based on academic merit (Matriculation marks), followed by Document Verification (DV) at the ECOR Headquarters.

East Coast Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

East Coast Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
Selection will be conducted through:
- Merit List: Prepared solely based on the percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation (subject to a minimum of 50% aggregate marks). Marks from all subjects will be reckoned. There will be no written test or viva.
- Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification at the Headquarters of East Coast Railway based on merit and their preference.
- Medical Fitness: Candidates must produce a Medical Fitness Certificate signed by a Government-authorized (Gazetted) doctor not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon.

Eligible candidates must apply online by visiting the official RRC/BBS website at www.rrcbbs.org.in. Candidates will first have to register and log in to fill out the online application carefully, selecting their preferred Division/Workshop. During submission, a Registration Number will be generated which must be preserved. Applicants must be in possession of a valid Aadhaar Card or Aadhaar Enrolment ID to register.
Upload legible scanned copies of required documents in JPG/JPEG format, including a recent colour photograph, signature, educational mark sheets, ITI certificate, and category certificates (if applicable). Pay the application fee online (if applicable) and submit the form before 15 September 2026 at 17:00 hrs. Ensure to take a printout of the submitted application, as it will be required during the selection process.
